Senegal Star El Hadji Diouf claims manager Steve Kean has cold shouldered him since replacing Sam Allardyce and predicts Rovers are heading for the drop under Kean.
Diouf says “The spirit to win has gone as team spirit has dwindled, for the sake of the supports I don’t want Rovers to go down, but under Kean they will. Ewood is not a fortress any more, teams used to come in fear, now they can’t wait to play Rovers, it is an easy three points Diouf concluded”.
I have to say before you all do, El Hadji sounds a bit like Reg!!!
Strange that on the day 24th August, when Diouf’s comments were reported throughout media and TV outlets nationwide the Kean friendly Lancashire Telegraph didn’t carry the story!
The Lancashire Telegraph has banned any paid advertisements for Reg of the Rovers website.
In a draconian act of censorship, Editor Kevin Young has banned “Reg”, despite having advertised since the website was created in December 2010, the telegraph editor has issued instructions that Reg is banned from advertising in the pages of the Blackburn based newspaper.
I have not spoken to the editor directly, his instructions were passed onto me by a member of his advertising staff citing a “conflict of interest” whatever that means?
I have been very critical of the new owners since they took over the club; their running of the club has been met with ridicule from all sections of the media, except the Lancashire Telegraph. My criticism has been echoed by many supporters in addition to the National Press so I am not alone voice. I just want to know what is happening to my beloved Blackburn Rovers.
